55 & Over

We are the 55 and Over Club for Seniors, ages 55 and over. We began in 1989 with our Greek seniors from Deaconess Tower. Since then, our trips and events have included Bob-Lo Island, Greek Town restaurants, Frankenmuth, and pilgrimages to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Monastery, to name a few. 

We also provide a Christmas Party and picnics for our seniors. Every 3^rdThursday each month, we hold lunches at $9 for about 70-80 seniors in the Apollo Hall at the Grecian Center. Menu includes: fresh garden salad, entree', vegetables, bread, butter, coffee or tea, and dessert. Bingo with cash prizes follows the lunches.

Yearly membership of $5 entitles each senior to two (2) free lunches—a pizza lunch in August (seniors who attend bring dessert) and a Thanksgiving Dinner in November. What a fine way to fellowship. We welcome your friends and neighbors.

A sign-up sheet will be available 2 weeks from date of luncheon for you to sign-up on the desk by the 1st floor elevators.

For carry-out lunches, you must indicate on the sign-up list how many lunches you are ordering. No carry-out orders taken day of lunch.

You must phone in your reservation to the Grecian Center 734.282.5700 one week prior to luncheon.

You must indicate to the Grecian Center when you make your reservation if you are ordering a carry-out lunch. No carry-out orders taken day of lunch.

No Carry-out lunches in the months of August or November.
